How many text messages do you send a day?

If I can send 2 sms message a day, that would be normal. I know some people send sms to the person sitting in the next chair. I am talking about Joel! Yesterday night, he kept on sending sms to me until I have to dagger-stare at him indicating my disapproval and intention to stop immediately. I was sitting beside him, and instead of talking, he sent 8 sms in a few minutes.

Britons are sending 1,000,000,000 sms messages in 1 week i.e. 142 million in a day! And provided you do not sleep, that is almost 6 million sms in an hour. In September 2007, 4.825 billion texts were sent, an equivalent of 4,000 every second!
